We are proud to present a unique quilt exhibit entitled “Seasons”. A local group of quilt club members accepted the challenge to independently create a quilted piece depicting the four seasons, or showcase their favorite season. Vote for your favorite. This is a free exhibit at the Visitors Center located next to the shop.

Sister Robert Anne’s Cabaret Class

Molly Hammer in a celebration of Nunsense nonsense and song. Sister Robert Anne ‘teaches’ you how to put together your own cabaret act. Ticket price: $20 adult & $10 student.
Art Night in the Amana Colonies
4pm – 8pm
Explore behind-the-scenes as Amana Colonies’ artisans open their galleries, workshops & studios for this relaxed, self-guided evening tour. Tour information available at the Visitor Center.
Ox Yoke Inn, Communal Dining and Historical Experience
6pm-8pm
The menu and dining experience is reminiscent of the days of communal kitchens of which the Ox Yoke once was. It will include a presentation by a local historian dressed in communal era garb, some original utensils, how the food was grown, harvested, prepared and served. $20 per person includes program, entree, beverage, dessert, tip and tax. Located at the Market Barn behind Lehm Books. Kid’s love ponies! This is their chance to ride a pony, wear a cowboy hat & get their picture taken! $2 per ride. Photos extra.

All Day - Kids can come in anytime to dip their own chocolate for $3.50. Also Chocolate Maikafers “May Bugs” available only during Maifest. These are conserved a good luck beetle if you see one in Germany as they are rare.
Ox Yoke Inn events
11 am – 2 pm, “Yokey the Ox Yoke Bear” will have May Baskets for the children at their tables.
5 pm – 7 pm. Sparkles the Clown will entertain at your table with balloons and magic.
5 pm – 8 pm, In the “Bierstube” enjoy live music, drink and food specials.
Millstream Brewery events
11am, Clear Creek Amana High School Jazz Band performs after the parade. Brats & hot dogs available all day.
1 pm-5pm, Enjoy Polka music with The Barry Boyce Band in our outdoor Biergarten. In case of inclement weather, festivities move inside.
Ronneburg Restaurant events
Noon – 4pm, Enjoy Becky & The Ivanhoe Dutchman.
5pm – 7 pm, Silver Wings a great local band! Outdoor BBQ.
Amana Furniture & Clock Shop Tours

Take a walking tour through the woodshop and learn more about Amana Furniture and how it is made. Space is limited-register by calling 800-247-5088 or stop by the shop. 1pm & 3pm Kid’s craft area: Use blocks of wood and other materials to create something fun to remember Maifest in Amana.

Maifest Dance at the Festhalle Barn

Come to the Festhalle Barn to hear two great bands! Doors open at 6 PM, music starts at 6:30 with Amana’s own Let It Ride performing rock & country classics. Morning After begins at 8:30 PM, bringing great vocal harmonies and doo-wop music. Tickets are $7 in advance at the Amana Colonies Convention & Visitors Bureau (800-579-2294) or $8 at the door. Group ticket pricing available. All proceeds benefit the Amana Colonies Recreational Trail.
