What begins as a friendly nightcap for two couples rapidly becomes a battle of wits where no one is safe. Amana Brat Race 2010
Grab a partner & strap on one of our brat suits for this first annual competition. Registration at 11:30 at the bike rack across from Millstream Brewery, competition begins at 11:45am.
Brat Eating Contest
Be the first to finish eating a foot-long brat & win a Gift Certificate to the Amana Meat Shop. 1:30pm at the Festhalle Barn.

Canine Costume Contest
Is your dog a "hot dog" or just a "brat"? Dress your pet in traditional German festive wear - dirndl's, lederhosen, or as dogs in buns! Prizes given for Best German Theme for both male and female, as well as Best Small and Large Dog costumes. Dogs may walk (leashed and with their owners) in the Parade; competition held at the Market Barn. All dogs receive Oktoberfest bandana. $10 registration. Benefits Safe Haven of Iowa County. 11:30am.
